Love being able to cross reference. I have had no problems with the notes or any other features. My only negative would be the auditory. I prefer reading but listen occasionally while doing chores etc. The voices are monotone. Even so this is the best app I have seen. Use it daily and you will see for yourself. This is a remarkable and outstanding app! It is very user friendly and has many excellent features and options! I love how when you turn your phone sideways, you can have the study notes in one column, synchronized with the scriptures you are reading. Also the daily verse that it delivers to your phone to meditate on all day long.
